Alvin and the Chipmunks (2009) movie synopsis

Alvin and the Chipmunks (2009) is the continuation to the Alvin and the chipmunks (2007). After Dave Sevelle injured during Alvin, Simon and Theodore's concert, Dave decided to sent the boys to school. He put Sinon in charge tells them to be good.

The boys were taking care by their couzin Toby (Zachary Levi). They had a terrible day during their first day of class. One day, the principal decided to join a school singing competition where in Simon, Alvin and Theodore are the representatives.

In the middle of their practice, Ian (Jett Records manager) arrive with the three chipmunk girls: Brittany, Jeannette and Eleanor where Ian lied them about the three boys.

Will Ian succeed in bringing the three girls famous? You must try to find out.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Tropic Thunder is actually a movie in progress played by Speedman (Ben Stiller), Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), Chino (Brandon T. Jackson), Portnoy (Jack Black) and Sandusky ( Jay Baruchel). The production of the movie is a month behind schedule and has been spending millions of dollars. The director was not able to properly organized their actors while the actors showed no emotional attachment to the movie or its story.

The writer of the Tropic Thunder was believed to be one of those armies who fought the Viet Cong during the Vietnam war. However it was found that he was neither a soldier nor having no fingers, he wrote the story for the tribute to those who fought in war.

The actors were sent into the jungle to shot the movie. They were told that cameras were installed all over the place. They were given a map and continuing to do the scenes. Speedman (Ben Stiller) part ways with the group and soon captured with the Dragons “a known heroin producer”. The group continued to travel and found out that speedman is captured. They plan an ambush based on the film’s plot line and was a success. They were able to rescue Speedman and the rest of the group.

The story is some sort of comedy, action and drama. One of the funny parts is in their shooting part wherein one army was shot in the head and then came blood rushing out like a water in the faucet. Also funny part is when sadusky is attacked with a knife in his stomach, his intestines are coming out and his holding in it. Speedman’s hand become like a blooming flowers. In the story I was surprised when a kid appears to be the leader of the Dragon. No wonder to be him because he knows Kung Fu. I enjoy the whole story. It is really another big hit in Ben Stiller’s movie.

Rush Hour 2 (2001)

This movie is a sequel of 1998 Rush hour film with Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker.

LAPD Detective James Carter (Chris Tuicker) is on vacation to Hongkong to visit his friend Hong Kong Police Force Chief Inspector Lee (Jacky Chan). James Carter's mind was mainly to have a good time. however, the bombed explodes in the American Embassy and inspector Less was assigned to it.

They return to Los Angeles to solve the case because they suspected Ricky Tan (John Lone) his late police officer father's former partner.

Will they resolve the case? This movie was really great. I love Jacky Chan's movies because he handled it carefully with humor.

Rush Hour (1998)

Rush Hour is a comedy action film with directed by Brett Ratner, starring Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker.
Detective Inspector Lee (Jacky Chan) of the Hongkong Police leads a raid in the docks hoping to catch the famous crime Lord Juntao. But he only finds Juntao's right hand man Sang (Ken Leung) and he recovers various of Chinese Cultural Treasures being stolen by Juntao to represent as a farewell victory to his departing superiors; Chinese consul Han (Tzi Ma) and British commanderThomas Griffin (Tom Wilkinson).

On the first day of class of Han's daughter Soo-yung is kidnapped by Sang. Chinese Consul han ask Lee to help him rescuing his only daughter. However, LAPD Detective James Carter, is an arrogant, overconfident and clumsy police officer has also been assigned to take the case. But he were told to keep Lee away from the investigation or else he will have a 2-months suspension without pay due to his clumsiness.
He then met Lee at Los Angeles International Airport to fetch Lee. At first, they had a terrible misunderstandings with Lee but later on he forget what his boss said, instead they agreed to solve the case together.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005)

This romantic comedy action film directed by Doug Liman with the main Casts Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
The story begin when they met five or six years ago in Bogota, Colombia. There bored marriage was really bored and that they cannot remember themselves when was the last they had sex.
They learn that they are both assassins hired from different agencies. They are assigned to kill Benjamin "The Tank" Danz, they cross their path and hit each other. They don't know yet that it was Jane, his wife and on the other hand, Jane doesn't know that it was her husband who hit her.
After the war in their house, they both realized that they still love each other. They both cooperating to get their target.

Good Luck Chuck (2007)

This is an American romantic comedy film starring Jessica Alba and Dane Cook.

This is the story of a dentist who was being cursed by her teenage girl who got a crush on him but he refuse her.
"Chuck" means a a good luck charm lover. If anyone who had sex with him will find their one true love.
Now, he meet this girl Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba) at the party who is working at her habitan Gentoo Penguins and she accidentally slips and breaks her tooth. She called him and agrees to work on his tooth. And their romance began.
On the other hand, chuck is now popular to all women that whoever a woman will make love with him will find her one true love.

This is really a funny movie that you should watch.

Marley and me (2008)

This is a comedy-drama film directed by David Frankel with the main casts Owen Wilson as John Grogan and Jennifer Aniston as Jenny Grogan.
A newly-wed couple escape from Michigan to Southern Florida where they hired as a newspaper writers.
His friend and co-worker Sebastian Tunney suggests to a couple to adopt first a dog to find out if they are ready to raise a family. Marley - the name of a dog is a kind of sweet that's why Jenny choose Marley to be part in their family.
But things changed when Marley is getting bigger and bigger. They welcomed their first baby Patrick.

When John reaches 40 and so as Marley is getting older and began to have an arthritis that could lead him to die. The whole family mourn of losing Marley because Marley is their first baby.

This is a funny movie and a story of a family who lives simply with their big dog in the house.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinasaurs

When Sid wants to have his own family, he steals the three eggs from a dinasaur. Life begins to change to Manny and his friends.

When the eggs hatched, the mother dinasaur tries to get back her three kids from Sid but he include Sid that lead him into an underground strange world.

Manny and his perfect item Ellie, who is about to give birth, with Diego - the lion help them to find Sid and bring it back to their world.

This movie is really for the family. This is really fun especially when a squirell finds a romance while chasing with the cheese nut.

Forbidden Kingdom (2008) - Jacky Chan and Jet Li

Forbidden Kingdom is a 2008 American-martial arts adventure film directed by Rob Minnkoff.

I really love this movie since Jacky Chan is my favorite Hollywood actor because I like the way he acted on the screen. If my friends would ask me to watch a movie, it would probably of course Jacky Chan's movie. He has sense of humor and make his viewers laugh. You won't feel bored everytime you watched his movie.

It is the first film of the two known-stars in martial arts film named: Jacky Chan and Jet Li. Jet Li gained so many fans in the Philippines in his action movies. Children who had watched his film have greatly influenced them to train and learn Martial Arts.

Forbidden Kingdon is the story about the legendary stick weapon owned by a Chinese sage warrior "The Monkey King" (Jet Li) for five hundred years. Teenager Jason who is obsessed with the Kungku classics movie finds the lost relic in the Chinese antique pawn shop and finds himself transported back to ancient china.

Their adventure begun when he met the drunken kung Fu master, Lu Yan (Jacky Chan), and enigmatic Skillful monk (jet li), and vengeance-bent Kung fu Beauty, Golden Sparrow (Crystal Liu Li Fei) who led him to return the staff to its rightful owner.

This is really a great movie to be watched especially if you are in the Movie house with your family and friends.

Beverly Hills Chuhuahua (2008)

Beverly Chihuahua is a 2008 comedy film directed by Raja Gosnell with the main character Chloe-a chihuahua voiced of Drew Barrymore-a spoiled dog who lives her fabulous lifestyle in Beverly Hills.

Aunt Vivian leaves her pet chihuahua for ten days with her irresponsible niece Rachel. Rachel then decided to go to Mexico with her friends and brought Chloe with her. Chloe got lost and bonds with Delgado-a lonely german shepherd who happens to be a police dog, goes run from a ruthless duberman called El Diablo.

However, Papi-a landscaper who fell in love with her helped Rachel in looking for her only love.

Madagascar 2

Madagascar 2 is a sequel from Madagascar 2005 which the New yorkers is set to leave Madagascar to go back to Central Park Zoo but all of a sudden they crashed into the wilderness of Africa. Alex then meets the rest of the family and so as his best friends.

I really love this movie and was totaly amazed the unending romance of Melman the giraffe and Gloria the Hippo. They fell in love with each other inspite of their differences, physically but emotionally the same.

You will learn a lot in this movie and enjoy much more with your family. I am hoping that there will be Madagascar 3 (heheheh).

Madagascar 1 (2005)

This is one of my favorite movie. I really had enjoyed watching this movie with the voice main casts are my favorite actors and actresses. They are Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Andy Richter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the entertainer.
Ales the lion, the king of the urban jungle, now is the main attractions of new york together with his friends Marty the Zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo. They lived their entire lives in the big city where the crowds will cheer every time alex shows.
Marty's curiosity to find the better of him, with the help the penguins he escaped and explore the world where he belongs, Alex and Gloria go after him, they were being captivated and captured. The penguins sabotaged the ship, the three friends rushed to the shore. Now, the new yorkers especially the new york giant alex, who was not used of living in the jungle will now learn how to survive what Marty has been dreaming of.
This movie is also perfect for the family and the kids will really enjoy it.

Pink Panther 2

Pink Panther 2 is a spy comedy film directed by Harald Zwart. It is the sequel to 2006 film The Pink Panther, a reboot of a popular comedy series.

This movie is really fun and experiend the extraordinary role of Inspector Clouseau(Steve Martin).

When the legendary treasures from around the world are stolen which includes the Pink Panther Diamond, Chief Inspector Dreyfus (John Cleese) is forced to assign the task to Inspector Clouseau into International detectives and joined the team to retrieve the lost artifacts.

Joined him as the adventures begun with his partin, Ponton, to investigate the most valuable treasure.

This movie is set at Paris and Rome.

Dennis The Menace

I love this movie. Very funny. It makes my stomach ache and can't help but to laugh and laugh.

Dennis the Menace is a family film Hank Ketcham comic strip.

Dennis Mitchel, a 5-year old boy living with his parents next to hot-tempered Mr. George Wilson, is out of school for the summer. Whis his parents are both working with their respective employers, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell forced to have various of people to babysit Dennis. The latter becomes more and more notorious among babysitters for being more than a handful, and his flagrant unwillingness to be babysat by Martha Wade (parent of his female nemesis, Margaret), proves a difficult situation when both parents are forced to go on business trips for their respective companies.

His parents tried to ask Mr. and Mrs. Wilson to babysit Dennis. Mr. Wilson, becoming a winner of the community's garden association, holds a party, inviting the elder community to witness the blooming of a rare flower, whose forty-year existence will, in the light of a full moon, produce only ten seconds of a flowered life before withering away.

Dennis ran off away from Mr. Wilson when he mistakenly pushed the button and turned out all their foods swipped on the ground.

He was driven to the forest and Sam - the thief found him and made him a hostage. The hostage taker is now the victim of Dennis' naughtyness and send the thief to jail.

This is an extraordinary movie for me which is perfect for the whole family.

The Family Man

This amazing movie relates some people into their real lives. Asked themselves What if you have made a different choices? You said yes but instead you said no. This is a story of Jack Campbell who thought he has everything until one day fate gave him a glimpse and what is life could have been if he never had gone to London as an investment Banker.

Jack Campbell is a wealthy investment banker. Until one morning, an angel gave him a glimpse of his life if he stayed in the United States with his girlfriend. He suddenly woke up in a strange bed with his wife he never got married and his two kids. He desperately wanted to go back to his old life but he was really stuck in a different situation and an angel wanted to teach this over confident wealthy man a lesson that would change his life forever. He tried to struggle to live with his family with two beautiful and perfect lovely kids. After several days, weeks of living with them in a strange house, he succeeded to love his dull job and enjoys watching and playing with the kids and love his wife. But remember, this isn't a permanent life, this is just a glimpse of his simple life with his family yet wealthy of love and compassion.

His young daughter discovers his secret that he was not their dad and tried to help him survived in a different situation. But when time he realizes the happy family he could have, time for him to go back to his former life - and woke up in his bed and remembers everything about what he dreamt. His former lonely life makes him so desperate. He closed the &130 acquisition deal and find his girlfriend whom he fell in love with before she heads off to Paris. Then he told everything that he wanted to live with her for the rest of his life and the life they could have been when he never had gone to London thirteen years ago.

This story touches my heart and captures my interest to share it to my colleagues and friends. How important is family regardless of all your stuffs. The family is the most important to our lives.
