Tom Hansen who loves architecture meets Summer Finn after his boss introduced Summer Finn as his new assistant. Tom Hansen works as a writer in a greeting card company.
For a couple of months, Summer and Tom became closer and Tom's love grows although Summer already told him that she doesn't believe in true love and doesn't want to have a boyfriend.
Tom brings Summer into his favourite place in the city wherein you can see the number of building. After few weeks of dating together, Tom gets into trouble after he sees Summer talking to a guy. Summer split him up.
Few months later, the meet again at their colleagues wedding. They danced and drink together. Summer asked Tom if he can come to a party of Summer's apartment but disappointed after he saw an engagement ring in Summer's finger. He walked-out with depression. He drinks and eat a lot of junks foods in his room. After few days, he quits his job and focusing on his architecture plan.
After 12 years, Tom attends an interview and meets a girl applying of the same job. He ask her if she can eat or drink coffee after the interview. He then ask her name and she said "AUTUMN."
