Horton (Voice of Jim Carey) – a giant elephant, a jungle teacher took a dunk in a pool. A small particle passed him in the air and hears a tiny little voice inside the speck. Horton tries to run after a speck and believes that there is a life inside the speck.
He then succeed by talking Mayor Ned McDodd (Steve Carell) – who is living inside the speck, has a beautiful wife, Sally (Amy Poehler), and 96 daughters.
Mayor McDodd finds out that they are living in a small speck and their home will be destroyed if Horton will not find a safer place for them to live. However, Sour Kangaroo (Carol Burnett) is against of Horton’s attitude he has showed to her son. She tries to ask Horton to give it up to her but Horton refused. Her patience lasted. She gathers all the animals in the jungle and gives them false statements against Horton. She asked them to chase Horton and put it in the Cave.
The Sour Kangaroo’s son hears the noise inside the speck and the crowd stopped to release Horton. The Who-Ville where Mayor Ned McDodd and entire people will now live forever.
